Dear Park Lake parents and Grandparents,
As a mission activity for the children of Park Lake decorated canvas bags at PLOW on September 10th to donate to children in a local homeless shelter. The “Welcome Bags” hold all of the things that you might want if you were away from home. We are asking the families of Park Lake to donate the items or cash to help with this activity. We will be collecting the items at our next PLOW on September 17th and putting them in the bags during PLOW. We had a small group of kids on Wednesday, only 5 so this is not going to be a large scale project at this point in time. Helen is looking into what shelter would like to recieve this gift.
