Jesus HealingWhat is Health & Care Ministry?

It is a program that helps members of our congregation address all aspects of their spiritual, physical and emotional health. It helps us examine our lifestyle choices allowing each person to live up to the potential given to them by God.

Our Park Lake Health & Care Ministry Team sponsors events that provide information and education about your health and well-being and how it relates to your Christian life. We are encouraging in training people to lead a healthy lifestyle.

You do not need a medical background to be on the Health & Care Ministry Team! All you need is a passion for people and a concern for health and wholeness. We want you and need you‚ young and old‚ to be on Park Lake's Health & Care Ministry Team!

We encourage you to pray for our Health & Care Ministry.

Park Lake actively supports missions worldwide and in our community in answer to Jesus' call to share His Good News and to love our neighbors as ourselves.  Park Lake holds a Mission Fair each year in support of local and worldwide missions.  For more information, contact the church office or watch for details in the Worship and Work monthly newsletter.

 

Worldwide Missions:

Dr. Daniel and Elizabeth Turk - serving in Madagascar.

Dr. Barbara Jo Easton - serving in Nagasaki, Japan.

Nedson Zulu & Sebber Banda - serving in Mozambique.

Namumu Orphanage - Siavonga, Zambia (Park Lake is in a Covenant Partnership with the Namumu Orphanage Centre)

Chickens for Namumu - various members of Park Lake make cloth chickens which are sold for $11 each.  The money is sent to the Namumu Orphanage where a real egg laying hen is purchased for $11.  The eggs are used and sold by the orphanage.  It is a gift that keeps on giving. Chickens can be made to order.  Please contact Alice Schmidt ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
