There is a compelling initiative called the Central Florida Pledge. The Pledge is based on work at Valencia College begun 15 years ago. The educators set out guiding principles for their campus on “How We Treat Each Other.”
Guest speaker – Dr. Joel C. Hunter. Dr. Hunter served as Senior Pastor in Longwood for 32 years. In 2018, he transitioned to “go from my best interpretation of what the Bible says to my best imitation of how Jesus loved.” He is chairman of the Central Florida Pledge campaign.
There will be refreshments and door prizes.
