Park Lake has a Diaconate, that is Board of Deacons. The ministry of Deacon as set forth in Scripture is one of compassion, witness, and service; sharing in the redeeming love of Jesus Christ for the poor, the hungry, the sick, the lost, the friendless, the oppressed, or anyone in distress.
Park Lake’s Deacons serve a two year term. They are:
• Angela Chesser – Hospitality Ministry
• Billie Jo Elliott – Bereavement Ministry
• Doug Lawton – Congregational Care Ministry
• Evie Park – Hospitality Ministry
• Anne Vercheski – Congregational Care Ministry
• Cheryl Woods – Hospitality Ministry
A Deacon is present in worship every Sunday standing with a co-pastor at the end of the service to offer care and prayer. Please contact the Church Office if you need to speak with a Deacon during the week.
