We enjoyed chili and sides at PLOW and learned about Bread for the World. Our speaker was Florence French, Bread for the World Regional Organizer for Florida. Florence updated us on Bread’s important work of advocating to reduce hunger and poverty, locally and around the world.
As part of our program, we wrote letters to our Congressional Representatives and Senators in Washington, D.C. encouraging them to support policies that reduce hunger.
