Children and Worship

Children are an essential part of the life of the church. They are welcomed and encouraged to participate in worship.

Worship bags and children's bulletins are provided for enhancing the young worshiper's participation. 

Following the "Gathering of the Children" during worship, younger children (ages 3-first grade) are escorted to the lower level of the Sanctuary Building. 

There they continue their age appropriate worship with Bible stories, crafts and prayer.

Worshiping With Children 

 

Joyful Noise Kids Praise Children's Choir (see "Music" tab for more information)

The Children's Choir sings periodically during the Sunday worship service, and provides special music for Christmas and Easter service - the choir takes the summer off.

The children's choir practices each Wednesday from 5:15 - 6:00 p.m. in the Children's Library. 

All children ages Kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome.

Youth

Consent/Release Form for children and youth event participation:

This form will cover everything for one year from signature date.
Please note that it is your responsibility to update with a new form any changes that occur during the year.
Form will need to be notarized - Phyllis Cornell and Erin Cook are both notaries.
