Youth are an essential part of the life of the church. Youth ages 6th through 8th grade participate in our Middle School Youth Group led by Alice Fortunato. Youth ages 9th through 12th grade participate in our Senior High School Youth Group led by Erin Cook.
Youth Connect each week:
Come every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. to the Middle and Senior High School Youth Rooms on the third floor of the Education Building for sharing and study. All are welcome!
Come every Wednesday from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. to Park Lake on Wednesday (P.L.O.W.) in Struble Hall of the Education Building. Dinner at 6:00 p.m. Fun and fellowship from 6:45 - 7:30 p.m. All are welcome!
Youth Mission work:
Each summer the Middle and Senior High School Youth groups participate in separate mission trips. Two main fundraisers for their mission trips are:
* Thanksgiving Lunch provided after worship for the congregation and friends
* Easter Morning Breakfast provided after the Sunrise Service Easter Service
The Youth Groups also participate in various mission activities throughout the year including gleaning, serving a meal at Fresh Start at the Christian Service Center and other activities.
Youth Sunday:
Each Spring the Middle and Senior High School Youth lead the congregation in worship providing the Scripture readings, the prayers, and the sermon.
Children & Youth Christmas Pageant:
The last Sunday of Advent, the children and youth lead the congregation in worship by presenting a Christmas Pageant reinacting the birth of our Savior.
