Dear Park Lake members and friends:
Howard Kurtz and Shirley Jones are starting up a group who are interested in sewing protective masks for those in need.
There is a video to see how easy they are to make. There is also access to material for those of you who do not have a “stash” of fabric. If you are interested in participating, please email the church office at carolparklake@gmail.com.
There are still some details to work out, especially for delivery and pickup, but that will be taken care of in time. The hope is that this group will continue long after COVID-19 has passed as there are many things we could do as a group.
