Lent is a time of spiritual self examination and reflection for Christians. It begins with Ash Wednesday
when we pray with the Psalmist, “Have mercy on me, oh God, according to your steadfast love. Blot out
my transgressions. Wash me, and cleanse me from my sin.” (Psalm 51)
To help you in the 40 days of your own examination and reflection, Park Lake is offering “Lent at Home”
bags. These bags include: Ashes with prayer and liturgy, daily devotion guide, daily Lenten “practices” cards,
prayer and pretzels making activity, coloring pages and a Paschal Candle activity.
