A Century of Community in Christ
As part of Park Lake’s 100th Anniversary celebration, we will be doing 100 hours of Mission in May.
Our first event was taking action to fight childhood hunger.
Over 45 volunteers met in Struble Hall and assembled 10,500 meals through No Child Hungry. This Apopka-based organization has sent meals across the United States and Central America, Ukraine and wherever the greatest need is at the time.
The meals we packed today will be going to those who have lost their homes in the fires in Los Angeles and to homes in Belize City, Belize who face hunger every day.
